luis and family-nov.2009I want to share with you a special prayer request. As you know my son is supposed to be born around March 15th. But the Lord is challenging and blessing us in a way that we are in need of prayer. Two days ago, my wife Nicola and I went to the hospital for a baby check up and the doctors said that there was something not right. It is really hard for us to understand perfectly the technical words, but the doctor said that there was an imminent risk of having a premature labour. The doctor said that she had to be hospitalized immediately. So, she is now at the hospital being monitored and receiving some pills to prevent contractions.

I am praying with my wife everyday in the visitation time and God is giving us peace ad trust in Him. I am now taking care of Rohan at the house, and also going everyday to the hospital to support and pray with my wife.

Our prayer requests are:

- The doctor said that if the baby comes prematurely before the next 6 weeks, there are few chances of survival because he is too small and developing. So, please pray that God will help him to be born in an adequate time and there will not be need of connecting him to machines or artificial respirator.

- Please pray God's peace and sustenance continues in the hearts of my wife, my son, and myself.

-Please pray so our families in Peru and England listen to the voice of God about this trial. We hope the non believers of our families will understand how weak and fragile we are and that all of us are in desperate need of our Creator.

-Please pray so God helps me and my wife to listen to His precious voice in this circumstance. We believe He is permitting this because He has a purpose. We do not want just to see how He answers our prayers with grace, but we do not want to miss anything from the message and things that He is speaking to us personally.

-Pray so I have peace and discernment to balance my priorities between my time with God first, my family, and my responsibilities at the church.

God bless you and keep you,

Luis, Nicola and Rohan
