6818_163999717216_50476497216_3222011_9176_nAt the beginning of September we started a new Bible study in English for Christians. Luis has been leading two Bible studies, one for non-Christians and the other in Spanish for the Latin American men. Nicola leads a weekly study, also in Spanish for the ladies. But we noticed the need for a weekly study of God's Word for the Christians of KPBC. With the need to learn from the Bible also was the need for prayer and for showing love in the fellowship of God's church. So, with this we started "Loving Families," and we have been pleased to also be able to provide childcare so that young mothers can attend and concentrate. Ephesians chapter one has been our weekly delight as we meditate on the spiritual blessings that Jesus has bestowed on us.

The preparation for "Creacion II" is underway. The drama this year will tell about the Fall and the possible redemption through Christ in a visually simple way for young children with the involvement of their parents, too. We have been meeting on Saturdays to put it together with all those who wish to be involved sorting out costumes, dances, last touches to the set, explaining the story, and how it will be played out. It is an opportunity to work with Christians and non-Christians together.

Prayer:

Please continue to pray for the guests we have been assisting in the Sunday services and for the Bible studies in Spanish. Pray for people's salvation as they are hearing the Gospel.

Please pray for those to whom we have been preaching the Gospel this past year in the Saturday events and the Bible studies linked with these. Many are now our friends for and have heard the Gospel in the sermons, through personal testimony, through study, and through the ties of love and giving.

Please pray for the preparation time for "Creacion II." The rehearsals are such an important part in sharing the Gospel as they build up the personal relationships, are real opportunities to share one on one, and the way we work together we hope is a testimony in itself.

A part of the KBPC church are happy to support the Vida Nueva Church, allowing us to use their facilities to congregate. But there is also another part of the church who do not desire to lend us their facilities as a church. Our permanence will be defined once KBPC finds a new pastor. Please pray that our Latin American church will not be discouraged nor the uncertainty cause worry, that we may continue praising the name of God with joy and happiness, and that the peace of God may remain in our hearts in all this process.
