On 28th April, we had a baptism program. Two people took water baptism. Their names are Janmenjoy Hati (male, age 20) from Chakmathuri, and Tapati Payra (female, age 19) from Gopalpur. I shared with her from February about Jesus Christ. At first, she was not that much interested to listen about Jesus Christ because she was a worshipper of Kali [Calcutta gets its name from this Hindu god]. She used to attend many festivals and she was very interested in watching movies. I said to her, "You are very happy worshipping idols and watching movies, but that is only for a few hours. If you accept Jesus Christ, He will give you true joy and happiness always. That happiness will not stop." I prayed for her and I shared with her several scriptures (Rom. 10:9; 3:10; 3:23; 1 Jn 1:9; 1 Jn. 5:12, Jn. 14:6).

She used to ask me many questions. I gave her answers from the scripture. Finally, on 2nd April she confessed her sin and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. And on 28th April, she took water baptism at Tahalia. I thank God that one person was saved by His grace. Ministry is continuing through evangelism, Sunday school, and church services. Now, I have four churches in four different villages. Total baptized members: 29; others: 10; total: 39. Likewise, God is using me in His ministry at East Midnapur.
