We wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed and happy New Year. We are so grateful and thankful to all of our valuable friends especially of HeartCry family, who have been praying earnestly and supporting us financially in the ministry in Bangladesh. Through your humble prayers and support, we have been faithful in the ministry today and have seen how the mighty hands of our Lord keep leading us into the field.  As the year 2010 is coming to the end, despite all our weaknesses, we really try to count the blessings the Lord has been giving to us this year and it is beyond our numbering in all realms. Also, as far as soul winning is concerned, we reached around 2,400 Meiteis with the Gospel this year and out of them 89 professed that Jesus is the Lord. We are so thankful and grateful to God for you going with us through valuable prayers and financial support without which our work would not be possible. Let’s praise the Lord together for His mighty works!

It has been our earnest prayer especially for a couple’s seminar this year again; the Lord blessed and honored our prayer. It was held on the 16th -18th Dec. 2010. We invited a Meitei missionary family from Silchar, Assam, who also has been teaching in the Bible colleges, to be a resource person of the seminar, but unfortunately his wife who is also from a Muslim background could not come because their only daughter’s unexpected sickness. Rev. BN De, one of our prayer partners in the ministry thus far, came as we invited him also; the couples were blessed greatly because it was also taught in our own tongue.  We are sure that such seminars will help the new couples in Bangladesh to grow spiritually by leaving the old traditions which they grew up learning behind which are not so easy for them to give up.

The wooden pillars and main wooden bars that hold the whole church building together lasted only six and a half years. When we checked the pillars and bars, except the outside covers, most of the main bars and pillars inside were gone by white ants. It was so surprising to see how the Lord has been so mercifully protecting His children even during the time of heavy storms. The main carpenter whom we hired to repair wondered seeing the condition of the Church building, he said that, “Your God has been saving you!" Praise the Lord that though it was so expensive, through the contribution of the believers and some from the church funds, believers along with two hired builders made repairs.

Also, we have been blessed with three fishery ponds this year and this is a kind of partnership between believers’ families and the church. We expected the first crops from each pond but unfortunately, except one pond, two ponds’ fish were stolen at night. Praise the Lord that though it did not come up to our expectations, but it is successful. Our prayer is that such projects would be a way of income and also for the church's development. As my family has been in Bangladesh for almost three weeks – since 15th Dec. 2010 onward, we enjoyed the Christmas celebration with the believers here in Bangladesh. It was such a great blessing to see the believers together, for some of them after many days of their absence due to their work place. Lets continue lifting up our brothers and sisters to the mighty hand of the Lord!Friends, we would like to say that all these things took place because of your tireless prayers and generous giving to the ministry as well. Thank you, thank you.
Above all, let’s give glory and honor to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ together for everything took place in His name and for His glory alone! May His name be lifted up! Amen.

In His Service,
Luckson and Pingku
