Dear Friends, I am late to update you on what the Lord has been doing here in Bangladesh through your humble prayers and support. My family had some tough times in the last two months due to our shifting from Bangladesh to Agartala, not finding any rent for a long time in the place where we wanted to be for ministry in India, and also I had a severe pain in my right wrist which remains a little bit until now. But, we are sure that you have been earnestly praying for us and we thank you so much for that!Praise the Lord that despite these situations, He enabled me to go to Bangladesh on the 30th January and stay until the 2nd February. We had wonderful meetings and teaching times with the brothers and sisters. My wife, along with our little boy, also went to Bangladesh on the 17th February and stayed until 22nd. She went to strengthen the women folk, especially to help my sister who got married in December 09 with Bro. Sudhir. She has started a ministry of encouragement to the women believers and is preaching the Gospel among the Meitei women in Bangladesh. As my wife shared, she had a nice time with the women believers, visiting every house and fellowshipping with them. It was on the 28th February through 6th March that the Lord enabled me to go to Bangladesh again and stay with believers. Besides field visits with them, we also had a nice teaching program of two sessions on what I have learned from the study of Justification and Regeneration. The brothers and sisters were really blessed through the teaching. Also, praise the Lord that a woman came to know the Lord, along with her elder daughter and son, had been against her husband for his faith in Christ. As I was visiting their house, along with our brothers during this visit, it was confirmed that the three of them have decided to even go for water baptism together in these coming days. The great thing that we heard from them is that they have been encouraged and influenced by the changed lives of believers.Regarding our observation of the believers after we left, we found a little gap of cooperation among our native missionaries, which I think will improve through our earnest prayers and constant visits to be with them, along with teaching. And it's also very clear to us that they are having brand new practical experiences in leadership and cooperation, and therefore we hope that as you continue to pray for us it will be improved. In regard to their field work, the warnings not to come to preach the Gospel in the villages are still challenging. Sometimes we feel that the opposition and restriction are taken away, but it's really not yet. Satan is working hard not to let anyone into the kingdom of God. Knowing that our God is victorious, our native missionaries witnessed of the Gospel to a good number of people in and around the concentrated villages in the last two months. Another challenging thing is the "Missionary Box." Though it's small, before we left, we kept two separate accounts - one for the church and another for missions. For the church, Brothers Probir, Kunjaraj, and Indramoni are taking charge; for the missions, Brothers Sudhir, Rupchan, Dilip, and Manihar are taking the main role to lead in evangelism. The challenge for missions is that they make little "missionary boxes" for contribution for the work of God. Into it they place either a big or small amount on a daily basis and one is kept in every believer's house. It will be opened after every three months.
