I want to give thanks to the Lord for continued grace and help in Bangladesh through your love and prayers. I have three things to share.

First, I went to visit a young man at his youth hostel / college downtown. I met him before and sensed a real humility and Christ-centeredness about him. There I also met his close friend who is also trusting in Christ. They thanked me over and over again for coming all the way downtown and sharing with them from the Scriptures. They expressed a real lack of help in understanding the Scriptures and asked if I would teach in their church every week, which upon refusing, then asked if I would come once a month to their hostel (which I may). As we sat in their room there were others gathered around listening whom upon questioning were obviously lost. Nevertheless they were interested and it was a great time of proclaiming Christ. May God give grace and wisdom. I give thanks for this bible study. Lord willing, I will go again soon.

Thank you all once again for your continued and steadfast prayer. By God's grace he is keeping me, molding me, and encouraging me day by day. Sometimes my own weakness, faithlessness, and ungodliness discourages me. At other times his promises and perfection lift me up to soar in the clouds. Regardless, God has always been with me and never forsaken me yet these few years of my Christian life. He is the vine that never withers, the fire that never dies, and the river that never runs dry. "God is love," and "love never fails." All glory to him alone. He is the reason we live and move.

I want to give thanks to the Lord for you all, and your steadfast prayer. Also, I want to mention two encouraging things that happened.

One huge blessing is that it seems one young lady has been truly converted. She now has totally pushed away from all of the errors of the Seventh Day Adventist cult she was caught up in before. She went from being a Hindu, to a kind of vaguely SDA christian that didn’t know anything, to now understanding and testifying to the gospel. She has rejected the old false teaching and seems to have a real joy about her. I’m encouraged to see what God has done in the last two months. She soaks in the preaching. Also, she was the one I gave the audio bible (she is illiterate). I have joyfully seen her with her head pressed down to the cd player speakers quietly listening to the bible so as not to disturb anyone. May the Lord finish his work in her as a no one in this world’s eyes, but a special someone to God. – Pray for the others being awakened but not yet in the kingdom.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and a blessed and happy New Year. We are so grateful and thankful to all of our valuable friends especially of HeartCry family, who have been praying earnestly and supporting us financially in the ministry in Bangladesh. Through your humble prayers and support, we have been faithful in the ministry today and have seen how the mighty hands of our Lord keep leading us into the field.  As the year 2010 is coming to the end, despite all our weaknesses, we really try to count the blessings the Lord has been giving to us this year and it is beyond our numbering in all realms. Also, as far as soul winning is concerned, we reached around 2,400 Meiteis with the Gospel this year and out of them 89 professed that Jesus is the Lord. We are so thankful and grateful to God for you going with us through valuable prayers and financial support without which our work would not be possible. Let’s praise the Lord together for His mighty works!

Dear Friends,

resized lucksonI am late to update you on what the Lord has been doing here in Bangladesh through your humble prayers and support. My family had some tough times in the last two months due to our shifting from Bangladesh to Agartala, not finding any rent for a long time in the place where we wanted to be for ministry in India, and also I had a severe pain in my right wrist which remains a little bit until now. But, we are sure that you have been earnestly praying for us and we thank you so much for that!

Praise the Lord that despite these situations, He enabled me to go to Bangladesh on the 30th January and stay until the 2nd February. We had wonderful meetings and teaching times with the brothers and sisters. My wife, along with our little boy, also went to Bangladesh on the 17th February and stayed until 22nd. She went to strengthen the women folk, especially to help my sister who got married in December 09 with Bro. Sudhir. She has started a ministry of encouragement to the women believers and is preaching the Gospel among the Meitei women in Bangladesh. As my wife shared, she had a nice time with the women believers, visiting every house and fellowshipping with them.
