A team representing HeartCry is leaving for South Asia tomorrow. Pastors Jim Elliff and John Baker will be traveling over with the Huddleston family and me. We're going to fly into Hyderabad, India, where we'll spend several days visiting Sundar R. and other church planters and pastors in Andra Pradesh. On the 10th through the 13th, Jim and John will be teaching throughout the day and Corey Huddleston will be preaching to the congregation in Sundar's church. What a blessing to minister God's word to His people! I'm going to have to leave Hyderabad on the 10th to fly to Delhi in order to meet up with Ken Askew from Tharptown Baptist Church. We're going to travel to the Bhutan border and do some teaching for a few days. The teaching is going to focus on regeneration and justification. Most of the people in attendance will be young believers and have little biblical knowledge. Some will be unbelievers. Pray that the Lord would give us grace to faithfully teach these two bible doctrines. Once they leave Hyderabad, the other folks will be headed for Bangladesh to meet up with James R. and Luckson, in Dhaka and northeast Bangladesh respectively. Again, Jim and John will be teaching and Corey will most likely get the chance to preach again. Pray that the Lord would fill them all with the power of the Holy Spirit. After leaving the Bhutan border, Ken will have to head home for the states. I'll then meet up with Raj K. in Delhi and we're going to take a train to north India where I'll get the chance to see the ministry there. Afterwards I'm headed to Varanasi to meet up with Ben J. Please pray that the Lord would help me see what He's doing in these places. There can be many distractions along the way, but ask that God would enable me to see beyond what's physical to apprehend the ways in which He is working. May His Spirit fall upon the peoples of South Asia and may He do the same work that He once did among the Thessalonians (1 Thess. 1:9-10)! Looking to Him, Matt G. ÂÂ
