Greetings in the wonderful Name of our all-sufficient Savior! It seems hard to believe that I'm emailing from Livingstone, Zambia as a legal resident! I wish I was emailing from home and had time to tell you our crazy story of the past week, but we're at a wi-fi hotspot and just have time for a quick update. The drive up from South Africa was full of disappointment and frustration - breakdowns, delays, blown tires, and long exhausting days. We arrived in Livingstone Monday after a full day trying to clear our vehicles through the border post and being cheated by one of the offices there. The next morning our vehicles were immediately impounded at Zambia Customs until our work permits were officially completed. (Our plea that we needed the vehicles to go to Lusaka to get the permits did no good.) Wednesday morning we made the difficult 7 hour drive to Lusaka (with the help of our South African friend Jan), only to find that they had sent our work permits to Livingstone in February! We returned to Livingstone at 1 a.m., and a few hours later collected our work permits. Just before closing today, Customs finally cleared our vehicles. So we are now legal residents of Zambia with legal vehicles - this is NO SMALL miracle! We are mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically exhausted. There has not been a moment's rest in almost 2 weeks. We need to rest and recharge in every way, but don't know when that will be possible. In spite of it all, our wives and children are doing remarkably well - testimonies to God's sustaining grace. I'll tell the story in more detail later. At this point, we don't know when we'll make it out to see Dominic and the villages - there's lots of work just to get settled here. Thanks for your prayers, and may our Lord bless you with peace that passes understanding. In His Hands, Sean
