GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH, ZOMBA, MALAWI
THIRD ACTIVITY REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF JULY 2009
By Percy C.

Tuesday, July 14
I had a special session of marital counseling with Mr and Mrs M.. They both responded well to the word of God and were able to resolve the differences that threatened their happiness as a couple.

Saturday, July 18
We had our third leadership training seminar in Blantyre. The attendance was very good including some new faces. A bishop of one denomination who had attended the second seminar brought a friend with him who is a leader in another denomination. Good questions were asked at the end of each of the three lectures which showed that the lectures were appreciated. In my concluding lecture on Bibliology, the bishop was concerned to hear that God had completed giving His Special Revelation to mankind and will not send us any more apostles and prophets. He wondered what I thought of the apostles and prophets that are still around today. When I showed him that they do not fit God's description of His apostles and prophets, he was very thoughtful and said he needed further discussion on the subject.

Friday, July 24
In the afternoon I monitored one of my young men, Alexander C., ministering to his fellow youths at Chancellor College grounds. I was happy with his presentation of the gospel. We seem to have a preacher in the making here.

Saturday 25 to Monday 27 July
On Saturday we attended a wedding of a couple that have been living together for more than 35 years. I met there a young man by the name of Gift whom we invited to come to church on the following day and he did. On Monday afternoon I had the opportunity to share the gospel with him and gave him some scripture passages to read at home. My prayer is that the Spirit of God may open his understanding and cause him to call upon the name of the Lord.
