End of Leave

I have much to praise and thank God for during my month long annual leave which ended on 30th September:

• The Lord enabled me to rest during my leave and to feel quite refreshed as I take up my post again.
• God faithfully kept His church going with a stable attendance.
• The man I had assigned to be leading the adult Bible class on the Lord’s Day has proved to be well gifted in teaching. His name is Sangwani M., and he is one of the men being groomed for leadership.
• On the whole each one of the leading men performed well in the duties assigned to them.

Thursday October 1
I spent some morning hours with Sangwani M. giving him some guide lines on leading the adult Bible class which I thought he should continue doing.

Saturday October 3
I travelled to Blatyre to witness the graduation of Alexander C. at the Evangelical Bible College of Malawi. Alex is an upcoming youth leader who has successfully completed a three year diploma course in theology and ministry. I look forward to his joining the leadership team.
