FAITH BAPTIST CHURCH
REPORT: FROM 12TH TO 25TH MARCH.

DEAR BRETHREN,

We are indeed grateful to learn that you have continued to keep us in remembrance where prayers are concerned.  The Lord has wonderfully dwelt with us in the past two weeks.   We can openly say that with your prayer we are able to acknowledge the power of God’s hand at Faith Baptist Church.  The following is what has been happening in the past two weeks.

PRAISE AND PRAYER ITEMS.

The N. Family:  We are very thankful for the Lord’s direction in sending the N. family to Faith Baptist Church.  I remember last year when we just started the work at Faith Baptist Church, we made a number of rounds in terms of evangelism and met many people.  The N. family was one of them.  They belonged to the Conversion Baptists. These churches had been having confusions one after the other and splits and breakaways has been the talk of the day in these churches.  Enmity among the leaders is something you cannot miss as you take a glance at their activities.  Two Sundays ago the wife to Mr N. came to our church after combined youth evangelism was conducted with Chisomo Baptist young people.  Upon seeing the woman, my wife and I made up a follow up visit.  We learnt quite a lot after talking to the wife and it was clear that the Lord was leading them to our church.  I made an appointment to meet with the husband on Saturday afternoon and we had a wonderful time.  At last we concluded by advising them to go and make a formal farewell at their church and then come and join Faith Baptist Church.  The N. family are fine people who arediscouraged and need your prayers.  Pray also that they should find Faith Baptist to be place were they can find spiritual growth. The entire family will be coming to Faith Baptist church Mr N. declared.

Mr Bernard M. :  Again we want to thank God for leading Bernard to Faith Baptist Church.  Ben is the younger Brother of Edwin M. an elder at Chisomo Baptist church in Matero.  He visited us during the early days of Faith Baptist Church and could not stay.  However, for the past three weeks he has been consistently coming for church services. I followed him to his house also during my evangelism rounds.  It was discovered that he is a Christian but then the worldly cares took over him.  He mentioned that he was saved some time back and was actively involved in the ministry work of Matero Baptist Church but after leaving Matero for Kabanana four years ago, he stopped attending any church.  Please pray for Him that the Lord might have his way corrected permanently in his life. He has been coming with his thirteen year daughter Lonna consistently.  He has mentioned that he was also awaiting baptism while at Matero Baptist Church.  Pray for  His whole family that the Lord might reign their Home.

Pulpit Ministry:  Brethren, Pray for the power of God to minister to the people as the Lord uses me in delivering His word every Sunday.  We can surely affirm to you that He is leading souls every month to Faith Baptist.  What I plead for you to do is to pray for God’s guidance as we lead Gods people to greener pastures.

Yours in Christ,
Curtis C.
