SINDA REFORMED BAPTIST CHURCH REPORT 18th March, 2008 Dear brethren, Greetings from Sinda Reformed Baptist Church. We would like to thank you for continuing to labour in the things of God. We believe that your prayers have helped us much. Praise be to God for what you are doing to support our Church in Sinda. We have a serious problem in our area, that is hunger. Some of our people have migrated to Mozambique in search of food and for work. Please we need much of your prayers on the hunger situation, so that our God who is the Provider may intervene. CONVERSIONS: We have experienced God’s grace for the past two weeks. Four people have been converted and they are currently attending the baptism class. FUNERAL: One of our Church members lost her grandchild, and quite many of our people attended the funeral. Pray with us for the God of all comfort to draw specially nigh to the bereaved family. SUNDAY PUBLIC SERVICE: On 9 March, 2008, six people were convicted by the message preached on this particular Sunday; praise be to God Almighty. After the service, they followed the Pastor to his home for help. The Pastor arranged to make follow-ups at their homes for counseling. May God the Holy Spirit bring to completion the work He has started in their lives. CHURCH NUMERICAL GROWTH: We have been preaching through villages, and in the short time we have been doing this God has shown us fruit and we have more people coming to our Church. Some other Sundays the meeting place is unable to accommodate all of us. Praise be to God for that. PRAYER NEEDS Pray for conversion of the new people who have been coming to church Thank God for numerical growth. Pray for spiritual growth. Pray for two men who have backslidden. Thank God for youth ministry which has just started. Thank God for spiritual and physical help that we continue to receive. Pray for hunger situation in our area which is affecting our church life.
