Faith Baptist Church.
End – December
Bi-weekly report.
From 17th to 30th December, 2009.

Dear Brethren,

Seasonal and warm greetings are hereby sent to you as you go through this festival period.
Hope you enjoyed your Christmas with both your physical and spiritual families. We wish you a prosperous 2010, that the Lord should do wonders in your lives. We also want to take this opportunity of thanking you for the support you rendered to us throughout 2009. We could not have managed in a greater sense minus your contribution to this ministry. Our prayer is to continue seeing your support in 2010 for the praise of his son Jesus Christ and the extension of his kingdom.

We have had a wonderful year. The Lord went before us more than we planned and expected. Things we never thought will happen came to fruition this year and until now we marvel at his grace so abundant to us and the ministry. The following is how the Lord God Almighty revealed Himself to us in the past two weeks:-

Prayer and Praise Items

We had a successful Christmas evangelistic service on December 25, 2009 at our church. We thank God for the good time we had together, especially with the visitors. We sent out 80 invitations and had 22 visitors attend. Thank God for the Justified Singing Group from KBC, led by Mr. Mwindula M. (Pastor Conrad M.’s son) which came on this day and blessed us with good, inspiring, and wonderful songs. This special gathering was really wonderful. Pray for us that out of those who came, some might find FBC their church for the coming year. Also thank God with us, because on this day two of our regular attendees’ wives came to this service. We hope next year we will see much more of them as we continue praying for the other spouse who has never visited our church. Remember, all the wives of the three men I am working with do not attend our church. Many prayers are needed for these families. The H.'s, the L.’s and the M.’s.

Two Sunday’s ago we had two adult visitors invited by one of our regular attendee Mr. H. These were non-believers and without a church affiliation. Our prayer is to win these people to the Lord Jesus Christ as we continue following up with them. I will talk more about them when they finally settle in our church. We have been having people coming for a while at our church and then go away for good. Some of them have been ones which I have written about in the past. So pray that next year when we receive visitors, they must stay for good.

Pray with us again for success in our follow-ups with the visitors we had on the Christmas evangelistic service. More souls are needed for Christ’s sake.

Pray with us for the church building project which we hopefully will commence next year, God willing. The Lord has surely been gracious to us this year, because a piece of land was found and we bought it with your help. Praise be to God!

We also want to thank and praise God as a family because of the way He came down for us this year and did much more than we had asked. Things we had been praying for for years and things we had never thought of were given to us. Humbled, we are an example of what the Lord can do for His own. Praise be to God, Amen.

Lastly, but not the least, we had some items which we needed God to answer us through home cell groups. Unfortunately, nothing came forth. We had the issue of church curtains, youth balls (football, net-ball and volleyball) and had asked brethren of our cell groups to come to our aid and nothing happened. Our prayer is to trust God next year to begin our work with every thing in place. We still remain praying for these things mentioned above and a small amount of pulpit carpet. We also want to thank both the church ministries of KBC, individuals and other churches who supported us in every way in this our ministry for the cause of Christ Jesus. Please, do not stop praying for us and the ministry of Faith Baptist church. God Bless you all, Amen.

Yours truly,

Pastor Curtis C.
