Pastor, Grace Reformed Baptist Church, Namibia
Nsenduluka was wonderfully converted in April of 1978. In 1999, Testimony I came to know the Lord while in high school in April 1978. Just before my conversion, I had vainly sought the Lord in the dark nights of Roman Catholicism, Jehovah's Witnesses sect and the Seventh Day Adventist. Although I did not live in gross open sin, I wept profusely on the day I repented. I remember singing "Where could I go but to the Lord." This was the only song I had learned by heart from the Scripture Union group, who had been sharing the Gospel with me. I was baptized by immersion shortly after that. It was when I came to the University of Zambia and attending Lusaka Baptist Church that I was introduced to reformed doctrine. Call to Ministry I first began to entertain fulltime ministry in 1999, and I dreamed of starting a Reformed Baptist Church in Botswana. But it was some four years later that I approached the elders of Kabwata Baptist Church for the possibility of such a venture. They were agreeable, and in January 2004 I was set apart for the work. I left work in April of 2004 and on 16th May 2004, the church officially began. In November 2005 it was formally registered with the government. However, since I failed to obtain the work permit needed to establish the church, I finally handed it over to a Botswana National in March 2007. I then concentrated on looking after Fairview Reformed Baptist Church. I had resumed oversight of this church in 2006 on an interim basis. In mid 2008, I accepted a call to pastor Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Namibia. After all the call formalities and applying for a work permit, I have been visiting the church. In August 2009, I left Fairview Reformed Baptist Church to start work in Namibia. While there in October I was given a one year permit, which is renewable as needed. |
